All I get is "Software installation' and when I us File Explorer I see "CD Drive (K") Installer" and several files including 'VerizonWirelessUpgradeAssistantSetup.exe" .
Have you pulled down the notification shade and changed the USB mode to File Transfer?

Yes. It disconnects from the PC
