Droid razor goes crazy when near laptop, any thoughts why?

Hello I have had a droid razor for 2 years now and its great. The only problem is recently when I use it near my laptop as in 1 to 2 feet of it or so, the droid goes nuts, the touch screen flashes like someone is opening random apps and it becomes inoperable. It has actually called emergency once while it was freaking out, and if I am texting it takes over, texts gibberish, and has even sent the gibberish. When I move it away it stops. It was not always like this and is quite annoying when I forget and place it within the 1-2 ft circle of insanity. I assume some signal my laptop is giving off is doing this but have no clue how to proceed to figure out what it is or if it can be stopped.  Has anyone else had this problem or how to stop it?

Sounds like it is connecting to your laptop via Blue Tooth or WiFi and then MotoCast is trying to run? Ensure both BT & WiFi are turned off in settings. Disable MotoCast or any sync programs and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for replying Soccerref12. I went into settings on the razor to check and BT and WiFi both were turned off. I tried turning airplane mode on, no change. I also went to Device Manager on my LT and disabled wifi and still no change. LT is not BT capable. I tried this with 2 other laptops and had no interference or any weirdness with theirs. I could not find out how to stop any syncing. There is also no problem when using it near my desktop and I can actually plug it in with the charge cord to that. I am fascinated yet dismayed by this as when I travel I have to put my laptop aside and  take a step away to talk on my phone now. What sort of electrical signal or interference could my LapTop possibly be giving off with both wifi and BT turned off?  Is there any other electrical signal or type of "leakage",  "charge" etc.. that laptops can give off that could be occurring to cause this? I have Googled it (i thought) exhaustively but seem to be the only person who has ever had this problem.

Try shutting off your Laptop bring the Phone near to it and see what happens it may it or may not be the Laptop Move the phone in around the Area of the Laptop and see what it does) If nothing then restart the Laptop and see what happens let us know we can go from there..
