Email Limits on Razr Maxx

My phone is holding on to all my emails from several accounts.  I don't see a setting for limiting emails to 250 or 15 days or anything else.  Anyone know what I need to do to set the limit?

Are you using the default "email" app? Or which app are you using?

Good morning. I appreciate you taking the time to contact us regarding your email concerns. I understand it can be frustrating to retain so many emails in your phone. It would be my pleasure to assist you with your email concerns.

I have a few questions to ensure we are providing correct information that will resolve your email concerns. Have you tried deleting the unwanted emails from your phone? If so, do they not delete?

There is a setting in each email applications that will allow you to set how many days for it to sync email. For example, please tap on your Gmail icon. Once you are in your email, tap on the menu key (three dots at the bottom right), tap on settings>tap on your email address, tap on days of mail to sync. This field will allow you to limit days to sync emails. If you are still having issues with your phone keeping emails after trying these steps, please feel free to reach out to us. I am having the same issue. I am using the default email app. I have three accounts set up - a comcast account, a corporate account and a Gmail account. For the corporate and Gmail account I can set the sync time limet (two weeks I use) but for the comcast account I cannot set a sync time limit.  I have the options of "Mailbox check frequency" (every 2 hours) and "Sync over Wi-Fi Only" (checked).  Nothing else. In my corporate account I have many options - "Days to Sync", "Download SIze", Sync Contacts"...

This seems the only threaded specifically tied to this issue but I will keep searching.

Hi ckiii, I get so many emails as well that I can't imagine syncing all of them! It is possible that the Comcast servers do not allow the device to manipulate the sync time limit. Do you know if the Comcast email is setup as a POP or IMAP account? Have you tried removing the account and readding it?  I am eager to continue troubleshooting with you!
