Error Code 1001

I installed an update on my Motorola Razr last night and now am getting the error code 1001.  Not all the time, just seems to be random.  Doesn't seem to be related to whether I have strong or weak signal strength.  What happened with this latest update that is causing this problem?

Hi pattyk1,

Let's get this worked out. When did you download the update to your phone? Have you attempted to pull the sim out of your phone for 60 seconds? This usually helps with errors that affect network. Keep us posted.
