How do I take a screenshot of my Motorola Droid Turbo?

The online instructions say to hold the power button and the volume down button for a few seconds.  All this does is power down my phone.  It doesn't screenshot my phone's display.

Thanks. I tried this 4 times & it just powered down my phone. On the 5th

attempt, it worked as described. Not sure what I did differently.

Might be the power button was hit slightly earlier than the volume down button.  The timing of holding them simultaneously is tricky.

FWIW, if you find that too difficult, there are apps in the PlayStore that will take a screenshot or record the screen with different gestures.

JPretty11, I am glad you're able to take screenshots now. Ann154 provided the right information. It's just a matter of pressing and holding the Power and the Volume Down keys at the same time.
