In passed can someone help me with this particular text, in the passed 5 days I have received this almost 55 times and nothing works to delete it, identify it or understand it...

In the passed 5 days I have received this unknown text just about 55 times.  I don'[t want to have pay for these things.  It's from   6250   and the text is as follows..  VZWNMN:1 and once in a while same text with :2.   I have done everything short of deleting everything on my new phone of which I have only about a month.  Cannot reach anyone to get any information.  And I cannot afford to have my limit for texting blown and then end up having to pay for these.  Can someone please identify this for me and help to get rid of it once and for all.  My phone is the Samsung Stratisphere...

  If you search the forum for VZWNMN:1, you will see other threads by people getting these text messages, They are from Backup Assistance Plus, which you can disable on your Verizon account. Here is 1 thread:

my girlfriend had this happen with her samsung stratosphere and i had it with my first razr i called them and instructed the idiot on the phone to block the backup assistance (there really is no need for back up assistance on android phones period cause google handles that task seamlessly) and the issue was resolved immediately...
