Is the Droid Turbo CDMA only?

I Purchased a droid turbo from verizon online but they said that we get only CDMA versions and not GSM is it true?

It is unlocked and it has GSM.

From the Motorola website:

Carrier Aggregation (B4+13)

GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)

UMTS/HSPA+ (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

It is a World Phone and it has almost every used band in the U.S.

Plus it is unlocked!
