Well I just ordered a nexus 6. We will see how I like that. Won't have to wait forever for updates Smiley Happy

People overly concerned with what other think are comical.

Believe me when I tell you that you're lucky you don't have lollipop!  I've had it on my HTC One m7 for a month now.  I HATE it!  Messaging has been buggy, voice search doesn't work, other apps bog down.  HATE it!

I must already have LP.

I don't care what OS my phone has.  I would be happy with Birthday Cake 1.0 if my phone worked relativity close to what's expected.

At this rate I expect to have a (most likely) S6 or even S7 with Marshmallow by the time 5.1 is released.

Had the N6 and went to a Moto X. Was an veey large device for my liking.

The #droidturbo will be the last carrier flagship for me. I'm fact, this experience is making me second guess everyone involved... Verizon, Motorola and Android (well, google).  Too much confusion, no clear messaging, no one in charge of the end to end upgrade  process. I hate to say it but the Apple ecosystem on AT&T is look pretty good to me right now.

You would get the same thing with any Apple phone on any carrier because APPLE waits until all the testing is completed before releasing their updates worldwide.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

But you don't hear a lot about Apple updating the iPhone 5 months before the iPhone 6. And that's pretty much what's happening to droid turbo users.

A lot of droid turbo users, myself included, are needing 5.1 and the Qualcomm Volte improvements so we can do things like have a reliable phone call. This phone is pretty much a paperweight in low 4g lte coverage areas.
