Massive data usage in the span of a half hour and no solution after 3 hours of chat support

Sudden data usage is typically from doing something with wifi accidentally turned off you'd normally have on for. Think cloud backups, big downloads -- that kinda stuff.

If the data was from hotspoting, computers can easily burn through data with background processes.

Nope wifi was on and nothing sharing the connection.
