Microphone working poorly- any help?

Yesterday a few of my customers reported my phone cutting out while talking to them. I could hear them clearly however. I tried switching to speakerphone and they reported hearing me perfectly. Anything I can try or should I live with this for the next month before I edge up?

We don't want you to have to deal with public conversations,JACEL86. How has the service been today?
Can you also test it when you power the phone off/on?
Does the voice go in/out in different areas?

I have tried powering on/off multiple times, and have had the same issues today. Good strong 4g signal at my workplace.

Let's dig a little deeper.
If you have a case on the phone, we ask you to remove it. Then, try another call. If you need to, adjust the volume or switch to speakerphone to see how the voice is.
Is there any damage to the phone that may affect the sound.

Now, if that is still problematic you should remove the memory card to help rule out any issues with the physical memory card, or any possible third party applications that may have caused a corruption within the card.
