Moto E (2020) Prepaid activation

If I buy the Motorola Moto E (2020) Prepaid from Best Buy what needs to be done to start using it.

Do I activate it first?

If I have to activate it first should I go to a Verizon store to have it done or go through the activation process via Best Buy web site?

If so, is there a charge for this (Verizon store)?

If I do not have to go to a store can I do it on line?

Will inserting current Prepaid Sim card automatically activate the phone?

Any help would be appreciated.

Putting the SIM Card in, and turning it on, will take you through a set-up process that will allow you to activate the device.
