I have had my Droid Razr 32gb for 2 years and I have been having problems with it lately. When I shut the phone off to stop the Back up assistant from CONTINUING to work, it will not power back on. I've tried plugging into the laptop to charge (it was fully charged prior to shutting off). I have held down the power button and the volume down button MULTIPLE time for 10-30 seconds and it will not power on. Please help. I need my phone.

You probably need to freeze/disable BackUp Assistant when you get your device back up and running. BUA sucks. Use Google to back up everything. As far as turning on your device, try holding down all three buttons, Power Vol + and - for about 15 seconds. That should start up your phone.
