My Droid Turbo 2 screen has a green stripe going through it...how do I get rid of it?

My Droid Turbo 2 doesn't have any damage to it but yet a green stripe is going through whenever the screen is on.

The issue started 2 days ago.  I unlocked the screen and it showed up.  Now it's always there.  I purchased the phone in November 2015.  I'm not sure if I have insurance or not...

You should take the phone to a Verizon store and have them look at it. If there is a hardware problem (most likely) it may be eligible for replacement even without a warranty. The folks at Verizon will be able to look up your account and tell you exactly what your options are, and the price of each option.

FYI,  this green line is a widespread issue with the turbo 2.  There are complaints across the internet.  Many reports of consumers being accused of dropping their phone and bring told the turbo 2 screen is shatterproof but not shockproof.
