My Razr Maxx calendar will not update my Google Calendar

My Razr Maxx calendar will not update my Google Calendar, although it will receive my Google Calendar updates.  What do I do?

When you create the event on the phone, please be sure you are creating the event in your gmail calendar and not the phone only calender.

So select the Gmail calendar and it will update both, phone and that Google

You have 2 calendars on the phone by default, the phone calendar itself, and your Google Calendar. If you want it on your Google Calendar, you have to select it when creating the event. It WILL NOT update the phones default calendar, but it will display both of those calendars in the app, and you will see your event.
