Have you checked the battery by using a spare that you may have? Could be defective or just gone bad

Have you tried holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for 15-30 seconds to see if that resets the phone?

I have tried holding the power button like you said, tiki. No dice. I only posted this topic because it was my last option. And yeah, like Ann said, the battery is not removable, otherwise I would have just bought another one and been done with it.

Only other thing I could suggest is to back everything up (assuming you can, in-between the restarts) and do a factory reset.

Heh, I would back it up if I could. I may need to deal with Verizon before I even get my phone fixed. They're ******** me right now, with me just come back from deployment, saying I owe them a bunch of money.
