My razr M locked up
RoRos
Newbie

I have had this phone less than a week and it is completely frozen/locked.    I get a voice describing what button I press but it will not open up. I have the main screen but tapping opens up NOTHING!!!  I cannot access anything or even power off.

I am disabled and so difficult to get into a store for help...any suggestions would be wonderful!

Did you turn on the talk back accessibility option? You have to use a quick double tap to open an option like an application or widget. To scroll through a screen you have to use two fingers on the screen.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Let's resolve this RoRos! Try an alternate soft reset here http://vz.to/132LOo1 Did you receive this device from Verizon Wireless? Please ensure you are running the most current software version 98.18.78.XT907 in Settings>About Phone and share. Thank you.

First do a cache clear.  Follow the alternate instructiond for factory reset, but instead of doing a FR choose the "wipe cache partition" option.

You can clear individual application cache and data (including Chrome):

Try safe mode.  Read the intro to safe mode.

As a final option it's factory reset time (see first link).
