I may purchase the HD Station, later, if I can justify that I'll actually use it.  I like the idea of the USB ports on the HD Station. 

How do you use your two devices?

I like the HD Station When i got it hooked up with my Mouse an keyboard.. As for my HD Dock i like to use it because weather it's Connected to the Charger or Not my Maxx Display Changes to Landscape Mode and i can use the many features with it. On the HD Station it has to Hooked to the Charger all the Time for the Features to Work but that the Way Motorola Designed it. To be use with the Charger..b33

  I have the HD dock, it is kinda cool. When you plug it into the dock, it presents you with a number of options like Office, Bedside, My Music, and Charge only. When you have the HDMI cable plugged into a monitor, it also presents you with the options to run the WebTop desktop, or Mirror your phones display on the screen.

As far as taking the phone out of the case, I bought the OtterBox Commuter case, and I have to take it off to get it to plug into the dock, but I am going to see about modifying either the case or the dock to not have to do that. It only lacks a very little to make it work.
