Not receiving text messages?

Literally every night for the past month or two, around 9:00 my phones clock starts freezing up and it won't send or receive text messages. It's the most frustrating thing in the world, especially since it takes about an hour or so to catch up and sometimes I never get those messages. I've deleted a bunch of unused apps I've turned my phone off then back on. None of it works! I just want my phone working like it was when I first got it!!

I know how important it is to receive all your text messages aross717. Lets get this resolved today and thanks for performing those steps. Have you also deleted all your long and old text/picture messaging threads you dont need? Are you using a 3rd party messaging application or the one that came with the device? I do clear the cache periodically and I am using a 3rd party texting app,

8sms. I'll try deleting more of my old messages to see if that helps.

Hi aross717,

Thanks for the info! I am betting that the 3rd party text app could be causing this.  Please try to delete the app and see if that helps with your messages. If that does not help try running your phone in safe mode. http://vz.to/1cENHNC This will disable all apps and will tell us if another app is causing this problem.  Keep us posted.
