I find it very irritating that the car dock screen does not rotate. It only displays in horizontal mode. I prefer to navigate vertically. I'm not concerned about what I'm passing on the map, I want to see where I'm going. This oversight doesn't make my drive safer because I'm always messing with the mount to flip it horizontal to vertical and vice versa. My fiance's HTC Thunderbolt rotates its home screen vertically in the car dock. Why can't the flagship phone do what the older phone does?
Since this is very irritating, I thought I'd just disable the car dock screen. It seems I can't.
