Searching my recent callers?

I am trying to retrieve a phone number of a friend who called yesterday and said he was finally getting a new phone in a few days. I would like to call his home phone, which he called from last time. But I can only find recent calls that I dialed. I can't find recent incoming calls. Does anyone know how to find that on the Droid Razr Maxx? Is it possible? My old phone had lists of incoming and outgoing calls and missed calls and incoming and outgoing texts and much more, but now I can't find any of that. Can someone help me? Is there a way to search this phone for old calls?

Open your phone app, then at the top of the screen, slide over to the Recent tab. Called numbers will have a green arrow next to them, received calls have a blue arrow, and missed calls have a backwards red arrow.

If you have made and received several calls, be sure to scroll through the list to see ones not on the first screen full.
