I have a Motorola Droid Razr. When I use the USB cable that came with the Razr, I can both transfer and recharge the smartphone. However, when I use a "generic" USB that came with the charger I bought from Verizon Wireless, I can ONLY charge the Razr. I would like to have at least two USB cables that I can use to transfer data as well as recharge it. With the Motorola-provided USB, I get a notification that the USB can be used to transfer data (I don't recall the actual words); however, with any other USB, I can only recharge my Razr.
Is there something in Settings I need to do to use a generic USB for data transfer as well as recharging?
Or, where can I get additional USB cables to both transfer data and recharge the smartphone.
Thanks!
