I just got my Android Razr this week and I am struggling with it.   One of my questions is.....how do I keep the phone unlocked as it seems every time I put it down by the next time I want to use it it is locked again.

Go into security settings on your phone change the lock timer to something higher. Also you can change when the screen times out.

Or you can From your Home screen Tap Menu--> Settings-->Find Security Tap to To in Up to the Top of your screen is Screen Lock Tap on it and Choose Non that is what i have mine set at. But just be aware when your Screen times out and you tap the Power button it will go directly to the main Screen as screen since Nothing is Set..

Just be aware that extending the screen timeout you will decrease your battery life as the phone will not go into sleep mode as quick. It has it's advantages and its disadvantages....

Tap the menu key. Tap on Settings>Security. The very first line is "Screen lock." Tap on that and select "none." However, I should warn you that you should have some sort of security measure, such as a password or PIN just in case you lose your phone or it is stolen. The Droid Razr gives you several options to chose from.

The Lock Screen: When you Tap the Power button a Round circle with a the Key is in the Center and when you Tap on it you have four Choice and it Doesn't matter if you Drag or Tap right on the Widget that Lovely little vibrator has to do it's thing...on the old OS you could uncheck Haptic feedback. but unless it's some were i can't find it they Axed it with the i.c.s OS

I guess it is there.. Mine is so minimal that I don't even notice it. I can't find in the manual anywhere, there is an option in SECURITY that has "VIBRATE ON TOUCH", mine is off.

Some of the old Things that was of the old OS is in the new OS but it's been Relabeled and is assigned some were else.

Like i found the Animation it use to be in with Display but now it's in Developer Options.. Under Window Animation Scale..

Update: Changing the Settings can make how the Display Closes Down with it set to none or .5x the Screen just goes off when it's set to 1x and further down the Scale it Collapses in the Center..
