Seeing as it is so difficult to directly get in contact with Verizon, I'm praying on the forums being useful. Long story short as a present from an American friend I was given a Verizon locked Droid Razr. Of course this means I can't use it because I'm in the UK. The phone is completely locked and I can't access any part of it. Is there anything I can do? Can the phone be unlocked? Can I use a Verizon SIM in the UK? I would be prepared to unlock bootloader or frankly anything so I could use the phone. On eBay there are Droid Razr's that are unlocked..
I just find it pretty ludicrous that it is a phone that can only be accessed on one network and only in the USA (Or maybe Canada I'm unsure), meaning I'm stuck with a very very highly expensive brick...

Edit: Some forums seem to say that the phone has no GSM access, but on the official specs it says it does... Does it...?
