Why Can't I get the volume to come up on brand new Turbo 2 from barely audible?

Cannot get the volume to come up on brand new Turbo 2 from barely audible. Tried settings and the buttons on the side.

The screen cover that came on the fone was over the speaker and mic. I was

leaving it on till I picked up some screen protectors. Didn't know it was

covering the speakers and mic.
