Why does the phone keeps rebooting all by itself?

My Motorola Droid Razr HD, keeps kicking me out and rebooting all by itself.  It also keeps returning to the default wallpaper screen instead of keeping a photo I select for wallpaper.  What's wrong?

Could be the internal RAM is failing.
