I am running into problems where my Razor Maxx HD is picking up WI-Fi signal at fair to good strength on an open unsecured public access but will not allow me to use it. The signal strength stays white and not blue. When I try to get access an application I get a network error message. Anyone else have this scenario?

I had a somewhat similar problem. I'd turn on the wifi and click on an available local system. The telephone would tell me I was "connected", then I'd try to start Pandora and nothing would happen. It turned out my phone was deceiving me when it reported it was connected. It wasn't. Once you've gotten this far, you have to bring up your browser and click on the sign in box in the upper right hand corner. You should then get the usual "username" and "password" request. Once you provide that info you should "actually" be connected and you can go from there. I'm not sure this will work for you, but it got my Pandora app working, whereas it wouldn't before. Good luck.

That is something strange for both of you!
Answer this, once the WiFi is enabled http://bit.ly/ZPFZcx are you able to connect to any WiFi at all?
I can understand if you may be in one specific place that won't allow access, but I just want to know if you have tried alternate WiFi enabled areas.
