WiFi Connection

Just purchased a Droid Turbo. I caanot connect to the household WiFi. I connected a phone and tablet to it with no problem, (all using Android OS), checked and rechecked password, tried a fix of turning off WiFi, turning on Airplane Mode then turning WiFi back on...nothing works when trying to connect to WiFi.

Any ideas?

It's giving me an "Authentication Error. Invalid password". It is the same password I used to connect 2 other devices without issue.

Tech support could not help. They seem to think it is an incompatibility with the router. I have an SMC D3GNV from Xfinity.

Ive never heard of that.  try to connect to another wifi network will answer that question.   If you can connect to another wifi then they are correct.  if you cant connect to any wifi then it is a phone issue and verizon should help resolve that issue

Congrats on your recent Droid Turbo purchase Peejus. Allow us to get to the bottom of your WiFi concerns. When you attempt to connect to WiFi, do you get a certain error message? Have you ever been able to successfully connect to WiFi? Can you try to power the device off and on and try to connect to your home WiFi?

Thank You,

I ended up setting my wifes phone as a mobile hotspot and was able to

connect to it. So, I'm thinking it's a router compatibility issue. Now, I

have to find out what routers are compitible...

Thanks for your assistance.
