My google nav app is no longer on my Razr M. Neither my mom or I have a good sense of direction, and that nav app was our lifeline. I live in Colorado so I can navigate somewhat by the mountains, but that doesn't help when you are in the middle of the mountains!

When you click on Maps, look in the Search bar to the right, do you see something that looks like a fork in the road, with an arrow pointed to the right? Click that and input your starting point and destination. Then when the map loads, look in the bottom right-hand corner and click Start.

I'm confused by your answer. When I open Maps, touch the blue curvy arrow at the top, put in my destination, and touch Start I get a ladies voice giving turn by turn directions. Is that what you want or have I completely missed the mark?

To add to that, you can get to navigation using the voice commands in Google search or Google Now.

Okay, there is no blue mark, curvy or otherwise. I do know what it should look like, and it simply isn't there.

Nav is gone. Do you really think that wouldn't search for it?

Thank you so much for the step by step. I am so frustrated that these companies are taking things that are simple and easy to use and complicating them for no reason. Now if I can just turn of the bicycle mode and turn on the driving directions!

Touch the blue mode of transportation when looking at the directions to change the mode from bicycle to automobile.
