how do I remove files from my internal shared storage to my external storage?

Go to the Google play store and get the free Astro File viewer browser. You can then access internal files etc. And you then use the file transfer feature to the external SD card.
You can also use the USB cable from the phone and connect to your computer. A new drive letter(s) will appear. You will see the device files and folders and you can drag and drop from internal to external SD drive. However it takes patience and you may want to Google the process first.
