After the upgrade my phone now has the circle screen before you can answer a call. I don't know how to get rid of this?

I think she/he already stated what he/she wanted it to do. The answer the call screen to go away.
However I would think that is not a feature anyone would not have. Kind of hard to answer a phone unless it was one of the old flip phones that had open to answer or auto answer.
Smart phones are a whole new ball game. It takes seconds to touch answer or ignore.

settings-location & security
Just uncheck the boxes to have screen lock. (select none)
this information is in your owners manual. or download or view it here : http://www.motorola.com
Enter your phone model under "Support" tab. it lists owners manuals in Adobe PDF

The box for screen lock is not checked. Before I posted I went there and made sure it was not checked. The phone does not do it all the time, only when there is an incoming call. This is something new since the upgrade.

And I don't know how else you would want it. What would you like it to do? This allows you to choose what to do with the phone call.

poz, I have noticed only a screen on incoming call of Answer or Ignore. However my wife had that screen you speak of and she kept touching "unlock" to get that "Answer" screen.
I remember going into the settings for the screen and selecting none. We have a Razr HD not the Maxx but I hear that settings are simular.

Sorry, I'm not getting the "key" in the middle and the box for "none" is checked in settings. When a call is coming in there is a new circle and I have to tap one of the options to answer/deny/text. Not sure if I can get the old screen back. Not liking the upgrade.

Yep that was the screen I was seeing alas I have not looked into getting rid of that screen. Hitting answer or ignore works for her so it may not be able to be changed. Sorry

That is what I was getting at. Why would you want it to automatically answer? For the 1 second it takes to touch the option, it is always there for you. I couldn't tell you how many times I have chosen to ignore a phone call with those options.
