Before I upgraded to JB, there was a way to clear the cache by holding the power + down volume button.
But when I do it with JB, I get a red triangle looking thing. Is there another way? My phone has been acting very odd, and slow lately. Before I do a factory reset, was wondering if there was a way to clear the cache.
I'll hang up and listen

System cache clear:
Power down phone
Hold volume up/down & power simultaneously until you see the Boot Mode Selection Menu
Use volume down to navigate to 'Recovery', use volume up to select
Should see screen with triangle and exclamation point next to an Android
Press volume up/down simultaneously to go into system recovery
Use volume rocker to navigate to 'wipe cache' and use power button to select
Once finished, use volume rocker to navigate to 'reboot system now' and use power button to select

Thanks tikibar1 -
Thats exactly what I've been doing, and it worked before the upgrade to JB.
But now when I get the android and RED triangle w/exclamation point... no matter how long I hold the up/down volume... nothing happens. If I let go it reboots. Is there another way to get to system recovery?

Press volume up/down simultaneously to go into system recovery *
* if doesn't work:
press and hold the volume down and wait for a second or two, then press and hold the volume up and the volume down buttons for 5-6 seconds and then release
