pictures not showing up in text

I am having a strange problem. Somebody will text me a picture, my texts say I have a new message, but nothing is there., Eventually , maybe, the picture will finally show up. Usually many many hours. This happens all the time. Sometimes the pic never shows up.  Any clue how to fix this?

You might Try power cycling the phone, see if by doing that it helps push the messages through,  I have done this in the past with success..

Well usually I use that method or I will Run a system Cache Clear have you tried running one of those..

Is your cellular data turned on and active when you receive these messages.
