Hate all the ringtones that come with the Droid Razr m - they are all too electronic for me? Does anyone know if I can take songs I have on amazon and use them for ringtones? If not, can I buy something that is more appealing to me?
Look in your phone's internal file storage, there should be folders for:
Ringtones
Notifications
Music
Alarms
Obviously, any mp3s you store in Music can be played through the music player. But any you store in Ringtones can then be used as a ringtone, and likewise for Notifications and Alarms. You can put your music files on your SD card, but if you put your Ringtones, Notifications, or Alarms on your SD card, they may not be recognized if you reboot your phone.
