I'm sorry your phone is giving you an error message playindabluz. Are you receiving this error message when you reset it or when you enter the new password? Have you tried to reset the password on a desktop computer?

I receive this error message all day everyday since August 15th when I traveled outside of Verizon coverage zone near Rochester, N.Y. I have reset my password numerous times via desktop computer because I cannot access the password reset page on my phone due to error message recycling every 5 seconds. Although I am paying for internet access on my smartphone, I am not receiving the service I paid for. I would appreciate a rapid fix or a discounted bill for services not rendered until issue is resolved.
It looks like you have the old Droid Razr Maxx which I had for two years.! If you have your contacts set up threw Google run a Factory Reset, don't run the Full reset that clears everything.. and then when you restart the phone re-inter your Gmail.. Account and your contacts and other things will flow back in as they were some things you'll have to re-establish as you had on it before but doing the F.R. should get it back on track..

You might be able to go into Settings/Accounts press Google and tell it to remove the account. Reboot your device and try adding the Google account back. You shouldn't lose anything since it will be downloaded from Google after you re-establish the account.
