I would like to disconnect my BBU. I have no need for backup power for my landline. But when I follow the instructions on the Verizon website, I lose internet and TV connections. Is there a way to permanently silence the alarm but keep internet and TV?
FIOS service requires the battery backup unit to supply power. It doesn't have to actually have a battery in it.
