Billing Day Late. Requested Delay In Paying

My bill was due on 12/25.  I requested online to pay 2 days late when my paycheck would be deposited. I received a delay until 12/29 which was confirmed on email.  One Wednesday 12/26 I received an email that my payment was due.  I had to borrow the money from our daughter to pay online.  I received a confirmation of payment.   Tonight I just received an automated call regarding my payment due. 

I just checked my account and the payment due was 0.  I wish I could have talked with a live person when handling problems.   I am not always late and have been with Verizon for many years.  This is crazy.
