Our caller ID works fine unless we are on the phone and a call comes in. Call waiting will beep but the display will say out of the area or unknown but they are numbers that will come up normally. HELP!
They could be scam calls. I would not answer. Scammers are known to call w/familiar numbers. Sometimes YOUR number will show up! 
Or
You can call the folks of those "known numbers" & ask them if they removed their personal info (name) from caller ID.
