I have not had phone service for almost 24 hours. When I call Verizon or try to contact by email, all I can do is schedule an appointment, but can not provide details for problem or find a way to speak with a person.
I am pretty sure that the problem is in the phone room in the basement of my high rise building, but not in my apartment.
I did schedule an appointment but the first available appointment is a week away.
How can I contact a real person??

ABSOLUTELY! If I had a problem that could be solved by prior categories I'd have solved it by now! I have a question about whether or not my request for keep my email went through and there's no category to get to a person to answer that!!!

There may have been telephone numbers on the support page in 2013; in 2018, attempts to get to a number result in going back to page one. Very frustrating.
