I would like to know how to check my home voicemail from another phone. When I am at home I simply pick up my landline and call my home phone number and it takes me directly to voicemail. But if I call from another phone it just rings at my house and does not allow me to check my voicemail. Is there another special access number that I can call to check my messages? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
If you are a FiOS Digital Voice customer, your Access Number is 1-888-2FIOSVM (1-888-234-6786). All customers of FiOS Digital Voice can use this same Access Number.

The easiest way is to simply call your own number. While listening to your voicemail recording, simply press star (*) and then enter your PIN. It's much easier to remember your own number as opposed to having to remember that toll free access number.
You can also check your voicemail via the web using FVAM (if you are a Fios Digital Voice subscriber):
