How to cancel a wake up call

We set up a "wake up call" to our home phone, but have no idea how it was set up nor how to access it to turn it off.

Does anyone have a link to this service?

That absolutely did NOT answer the question!

I also set this up and am trying to find out how to cancel it online.

The only way I could find out to cancel the Wake Up call was to call voice mail and go through the menu.

You can only turn it on/off via voice mail.  You can't do it on the FiOS Digital Voice account manager.

Don't waste your time looking on line for a cancel option. It doesn't exist. I'm still not sure how I set a wake up call in the first place, but I do know that you have to get onto Verizon Voice Mail to cancel it. Canceling a wake up call took all of 30 seconds. The instructions are easy to follow and you can create, edit, or cancel wake up calls from any phone. It's actually a pretty nice feature, once you know how to handle it.

I have the same issue.  I set up a wakeup call and can not figure out how to cancel it.  I have called the voicemail number many times, navigating through the menus to canx, but to no avail.  I easily fine the option to set up a wake up call, but not cancel.

I am beginning to worry that I set up the wake up call right before switching to Digital Voice (which has a different access number) and can only cancel using my old service.  That would be a nightmare, since I don't have it any longer!

UPDATE-  after writing the post above, I thought, "well maybe I still have access to the old voicemail number".  Tried it, still had access, and went through the same menu options as the new service provides.  Hovever, a third option under the wakeup call section was provided:  "Review or cancel scheduled wake-up calls".  Thank goodness!

I never had voice mail before FIOS; t hus no experience trying to cancel.

Why doesn't Verizon read these blogs and realize there is a problem?
