I upgraded to FiOS digital phone with home voice mail two weeks ago and have had the "interrupted dial tone" for about one week. Today, I was able to find the new local access number to digital home voice mail and discovered 3 new messages. After listening to the new messages and deleting them, I continue to have the interrupted dial tone. However, I have no new or saved messages.
How do I get this feature reset?

You might have more than 1 mailbox that has a message and that mailbox is not being deleted.
Only one mailbox on the digital and non-digital home voicemail systems. Is possible that I had a message left on the original non-digital voicemail system in the time between the FiOS install and when the digital home voicemail system was configured? The access numbers are different between the two.
