I just recently had to cancel my Fios account and reopen a Fios account to get a better rate. I was unaware that my home phone number would change but it has. I called Verizon and was told I would have to wait 24 hours to change my number back to my previous number. I waited 3 days to call back and was told it was not possible. I don't understand why Verizon can't give me back my number that they clearly still own. Please help me get my old phone number back.
