Line auto-calling 911

This appears to be the only way I can reach support. Current repair ticket will not be addressed until July 15. Last night Sheriff's officer knocked on our door last night as our line is auto-calling 911. I tried to update our repair request with this info but cannot open on site (page spins and then results in server error). Cannot get through on phone to Verizon. Line is just roaring. I have disconnected all phones in the house. Will this stop the 911 issue? I do not want to interfere with emergency services. The officer said Verizon will not do anything if they call them about issue; trouble report has to come from account holder.

Unfortunately I am now having this same problem.  I was already getting alot of static on my line, but then I had the police banging on my door Monday night at 11:30.  I then unplugged all the phones, and they were back at my door last night with another 911 hangup.  I really do not need them at my house every other night.  Hopefully they can get it repaired quickly.
