I've requested new installation at the house I just moved into but because of the strike that's not going to happen anytime soon. The people who moved into my old house need their phone turned on at my old house but I'm afraid I will lose my number in the meantime if they do that.
I called last night and someone promised to call back from Verizon but that hasn't happened after explaining this for about 10 minutes. Currently my phone is still "live" at my old house and is being forwarded to another number but again the new residents need their phone!
Can Verizon still forward my phone number even if it isn't "live"?
