Phone service

My telephone is out. Verizon told me to go to outagemaps. Verizon.com but nothing comes up. Does anyone in Kiln Creek in Yorktown VA have no telephone service?

No FIOS phone service either in Silver Spring, MD.  Shameful on Verizon's part.  It's not even raining hard or winds blowing yet.  What's the point of paying for a land line when it's not working during emergencies??
