You're talking to peers here.

Your configuration matters in this kind of case.  Normally if the signal reaches one phone, the rest is your problem.  It is then a case of problems in your in house wiring or your wireless phones.

I think not, all phones have been using for years, and I didn't change anything or install any new device.

Still is likely your internal wiring problem,  Wires do fail, corrode etc.  I very much doubt its something that Verizon is responsible for unless you pay for wire maintenance, something that most people dropped years ago.

The internal wiring of the house is the owner's issue.  Verizon own the connection as far as the ONT or NID depending what kind of land line you have.

To test the vz part you would need to connect a phone directly to the ont rjii jack or the nid home oener side.  If that works then it will be an issue with your house wiring.

Typically it is a corrosion issue in one of the jacks or connection boxes.  We used to have the same issue here every summer when it got humid and I finally tracked it back to a phone jack in a bedroom where the wal backed onto a bathroom.  If there was a phone in that jack it would short out because of the green corrosion on the contacts and show as off hook all the time.

You'll need to trace your wiring from the phone that is working and check all the jacks and connections.  If you paid for house wiring insurance then Verizon will do that for you or you can pay them by the hour to do it on a service call.

Still cannot explain why 3 out of 4 phones malfunction and back to normal at the same time everyday.

Agreed that is very odd, but the fact that one works says that the verizon side works fine so it must be something to do with your wiring or the other 3 phones themselves.  Try switching one of the phones with the issue with the one that doesn;t have an issue which shoul tell you if the problem is with the phone or the location.

Note ax VIAFAX99 said, time of day problems with only one device is a problem as many, including him, have encounter. cuased by Humidy etc,

As far as Verizon is concerned if it works when directly hooked to NID/ONT, then any other problem with a phone is YOUR wiring or phone.  If you aren't paying for Internal wiring maintenance (i.e insurance), then its Your problem.
