Verizon voicemail picks up after 4 rings. Is there a way to change this? I'd prefer 6 rings.

I believe you must call Verizon and request that change to be made. I was looking at the Digital Voice page located at
and don't see any options to set. A call to 1800-verizon should be made.

The number of rings can be changed, however the method depends on the specific service you have.
With FiOS Digital Voice you can adjust the number of rings through the "MyVerizon" web site. Go to MyServices, Voice, and then click Manage Settings. The go into the voicemail settings.
If you have standard telephone service, you may be able to change it from a menu within the voicemail system. Try accessing your voice mail system and listening to the prompts to find if an option for the number of rings is there.
If all else fails, call or chat with Verizon support to find out the specific approach for your service.
Have Fun!

gs0b,
Please confirm that you are able to change the voice mail ring settings. I followed the steps you provided (brings you to the same place as www.verizon.com/fiosvoice and I do NOT see any option to change the number of rings.

Yes, I can change the number of rings. I normally get to the settings through "My Verizon" after logging into Verizon.com. I can do it from the link you provided as well. The number of rings appear under "Voice Mail Settings -> Telephone Settings." I can choose from 2 to 6 rings. I am in suburban Philadelphia, perhaps Verizon does things differently where you are.
I'll post a screen shot If I can figure out how to do it within the 20K limit,
Thanks.

I just went to where you suggested, it was not there. I decided to clear out my browser cache and now I can see it. That was really strange.
So yeah you can change the number of rings right from the web site.
