that i get charged for dial tone and for phone service? should the service include the dialtone?

i really want to do away with a landline, but i dont have a highspeed internet option

unless vzw puts in some repeateres and runs dsl

you can get wireless internet through verizon wireless,you just have to buy a little usb modem to plug into your computer. It is more expensive then DSL,thats a down fall to it, but you dont need a landline. It is $60 for the 5GB plan.  hope this helps
