I've called Verizon 6 times in regards to the promotion they've been sending me for months. Today I was again called and s[pent over an hour on the phone with multiple representatives, after finally thinking the promotional is going to be honored after the representative did a credit check applied the promo and everything was stating I was approved and would only need to pay the taxes and fees which were around $200, for the representative to send me a confirmation link to review the order and for the order to now state i need to pay a $1041.54 down payment which completely voids the promotion. The representative who was just as confused as I contacted his supervisor to figure out what was going on for the supervisor to then advise him that even though that's what the promotion states that's not how it really is. I've been with Verizon for 7 years I've had other devices on my account that were paid in full and the lines then removed from my account, for me now to have only one line and not able to the add another without paying for the device in full, after receiving the promotional text messages for months, to have Verizon tell me they're just false advertising and there's nothing they can do I just have to pay for the device upfront.
