I received an email and text message today that my account would be shut off following my bank blocking verizon for debiting my account, and shutting off me debit card after it was stolen. now i’m facing possible disconnection within 24 hours after trying to resolve this issue for over a week. i received the email and text message today (Saturday) and they’re not even open. I set up a new promise to pay as i opened a checking account with another bank, hoping this will be resolved and we can get everything taken care of in a timely manner and not become an issue.

Sorry to hear your debit card was stolen and you're having to deal with the frustration of getting automatic payments processed through other means.  You probably got put on "cash only" status with the banking issues and I want to say you could go to a corporate Verizon store (not a 3rd party run one) and pay your bill there.

We're sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your debit card. The last thing we want is for you to have any problems with your payments, or to face a disconnection due to your bank blocking Verizon from debiting. I recommend reaching out to the Financial Services team for help. You can reach them by calling 866-266-1445. We're sure they can help you.

Same thing happened to me and financial services wasted my time. They can’t even help me. They said I’m blocked until March and even though an agent promised me a $10 credit for every autopay I’ll miss out on until then now they are refusing to honor that.

Same problem with Truist bank. Still unsolved. Account suspended and Verizon is still unable to accept my EFT details.
